The Greater Boston Housing Report Card 2011: Housing's Role in the Ongoing Economic Crisis

The Commonwealth and Greater Boston are faring in this Great Recession substantially better than most regions of the country. The economy here is stronger than most and its housing market in less disarray. Bu there are too many troublesome signs in the national economy and in the likely course of federal housing legislation that make us worry that we are by no means out of the woods and the next few years could be as rocky as we have encountered to date.
