Kimberly Goulart, Sr. Research Analyst
Kimberly Goulart is a Senior Research Analyst at Boston Indicators. She brings experience in research and data science, program management, and public policy. Previously, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich, analyzing labor market trends. She earned her PhD in Sociology from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Barcelona, where she explored the effects of job quality on social mobility and well-being. Before returning to academia, she advocated on behalf of state and federal nonprofit organizations to expand access to housing, health care, and voter rights. Later she served as a public servant for the City of New York, developing economic solutions at the neighborhood level.
Kimberly also serves as a Visiting Scholar at Boston College's Department of Sociology and volunteers for neighborhood and AAPI organizations in and around Boston. She holds a Masters in Sociology and Demography from UPF and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University.
